Naughty one from the organisers of the Abbey Dash 10K , they changed the route slightly this year and it seems failed to get it re-measured prior to the event.
You wonder what prompted the check, 23 metres seems too little to have been picked up by a statistical analysis of the times and number of PBs and there is no way that Garmins could have raised any realistic suspicions.
