To paint the mile markers for the 20 and 10 miler I had my Garmin and the bike odometer to indicate when I was near a mile marker point. On the finish line for one loop (10 miles) I took this photo which even though I had been careful to follow the shortest route and not make any mistakes getting off and back on the bike was surprisingly close for both devices.
